COATESVILLE — The Coatesville VA Medical Center will attend an event at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #287 in Coatesville on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Veterans will have the opportunity to ask questions and complete an application for VA health care on-the-spot.
To complete an application, please bring a copy of your DD-214 and your 2020 household income and out-of-pocket medical expenses or take an application to complete at home.
Suicide prevention representatives from Coatesville VAMC will also be on hand to answer questions about the mental health resources available to all Veterans.
The VFW has invited the Chester County Recorder of Deeds who will provide the recording of military discharge documents and the production of Chester County Veteran identification and discount program cards services at no cost. Please bring a copy of your DD-214 or other military discharge documents and a current form of photo identification.
Visitors can shop the community flea market and yard sale happening onsite.
The event will be held at VFW Post #287 located at 73 South 1st Ave, Coatesville, PA, 19320.
