Asian Street Food 2.0 is this Saturday Aug. 15 from noon to 6 p.m. at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids. A few great restaurants to check out in the area:
The Choo-Choo Grill, 1209 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, is located near Riverside Park and is known for great burgers. They were nominated for Michigan’s Best Burger. They are open 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday. More info at 616-774-8652. Nearby on West River Drive is Vitale’s Comstock Park, which is known for great pizza and Bloody Marys. The Mitten Brewing Company on Leonard Street is always the perfect stop for beer and pizza. And near Bridge Street Market is one of my favorite stops, El Sombrero restaurant, known for great tortilla chips and Burritos. I recommend the chicken fajita burrito with refried beans and jalapenos.
